Visual Arts

Making, perceiving and reflecting are the essence of the creative arts. Making art is the most important as it is holistic, involving heart, mind, and body. Perception and process are constantly evolving. One sees things differently. One takes risks, and things happen, sometimes called “mistakes,” which are really just new opportunities to learn. Expressing oneself in art is bringing into material form things that did not exist before, things of significance, specifically one’s personal meaning.
