Sally Foster Wrapping Paper
9/26/2008
Don’t forget to check out the great items at www.sallyfoster.com. It is easy to order on line and 50% of all purchases go back to the school! Also, while you are ordering, please think about buying one or two extra rolls to donate to the 9th Grade Toy Drive. In December, our students will be collecting toys for the children at the Carver Center and they would greatly appreciate any gift wrap donation you can make to help with this community service project. These donations can be dropped off in the school lobby or you can contact either Norma Fox at njfox1a@yahoo.com or Stephanie Cullinane at spcullinane@yahoo.com.
Parents’ Association Meeting – Tuesday, October 14
9/25/2008

8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m., in the Athletic Center Multi-Purpose Room, across from the Squash Courts (Note the new start time and new date.)

Third Time is a Charm for World Languages!

Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom will prevent Jon Shee, chair of the World Language Department, from FINALLY making it to a Parents’ Association meeting. As many of you know, heavy snowstorms unfortunately cancelled his presentation TWO YEARS IN A ROW, so this year we have decided to move this meeting to a less volatile month, weather wise. Therefore, please join us in welcoming Jon Shee and the rest of the World Language Department faculty as they present to us a multi-language presentation with songs and technology. All WL faculty and selected students will be on hand to answer questions. Don’t miss this long awaited event!

For students who have been productively engaged in and out of the classroom through several years of college prep schooling, notification of college admissions during the senior year is often a culminating moment. The college counseling process at St. Luke's School is designed to ensure, to the extent possible, that it is an affirming moment as well—with good news heard by all.
