St. Luke's School is on summer break until September! There will not be a regular schedule of live broadcasts during June, July, or August, but from time-to-time there will be some special surprise shows. SLX veteran Dan Mecca is planning a summer show--stay tuned for details. You never know when Peter Bush, Jeff Kress, or Troy Haynie will show up and spin some tunes and some yarns.
You can always count on WSLX for the best in current and recent music as well as selected past hits, and news of St. Luke's. So enjoy another summer of music without commercial interruption at 91.9 on your FM dial. We are also always streaming on the internet at wslx.org!
WSLX would not be what it is today without the skills, talents, and time of a dedicated group of faculty, alumni, and friends. Dean of Middle School Student Life and WSLX faculty advisor Troy Haynie ’85, and Computer Department Chair Jeff Kress oversee the day-to-day operations. Peter Bush Swanberg ’73, who helps to manage WSLX on a volunteer basis, and Dan Mecca SLS ’81 were two of the original founding members of the station "Way Back When", and provide countless hours of help, support, and advice. Engineer extraordinairre Ed Butler (WEBE 108/WICC) and capable programming consultant Pete Salant continue to spearhed the station’s operational development.
