On April 25, fifteen St. Luke’s students went to Bristol to compete in the CT COLT Poetry Recitation Contest. The Council Of Language Teachers (COLT) is an organization that promotes language proficiency and the knowledge of world cultures. The St. Luke’s students competing spanned six grades and competed in six different languages. They each memorized a poem and recited it in front of judges and students from all over the state. St. Luke’s team won a total of eight medals in their various contests and all our participants did a great job.
