Amplify your leadership skills and geopolitical competency at St. Luke’s Model United Nations Workshop this summer. Designed specifically for middle school and rising high school students, this immersive program begins with an overview of the Model United Nations tournament experience through a series of hands-on sessions led by seasoned members of the SLS Upper School MUN team under the direction of faculty lead Abby Abbott.
Across the week, participants will gain expertise and confidence, culminating with a mock tournament. Real-world simulations based on the UN General Assembly, Specialized Committees, and Crisis Committee format will provide students with creative problem-solving skills and collaboration practice necessary to navigate the rapidly evolving political landscape that we face today.
This workshop is perfect for both novice and experienced MUN-ers, and in addition to the opportunity for peer mentorship, it offers an excellent way to build and hone the skills necessary to formulate ethical and constructive solutions in any arena.
