The Implications of the Paris Terror Attacks—A Panel Discussion

VGP
After school on November 19, a group of students and faculty gathered in the Godfrey Library for the panel discussion, “The Implications of the Paris Terror Attacks.” The discussion was led by St. Luke's History teachers Abby Bielski, Jason Haynes, and Hunter Martin. The goal was to help listeners be better informed and able to understand what happened in Paris. Some of the topics discussed included: What we know about ISIS, what the attacks mean for France, and how the nature of terrorism and counterterrorism has evolved. Bielski, Haynes and Martin shared a wealth of knowledge on these topics, followed by thoughtful questions and perspectives shared by the audience.
