Noel Thomas Jr. Waiting For NFL Call

St. Luke’s alumni Noel Thomas Jr. ‘13 is hoping to make his football dreams a reality this week by hearing his name in the NFL draft which starts Thursday April 27.
Thomas Jr., whose father Noel Thomas is the head football coach and Assistant Dean of Students st St. Luke’s, played all four years for the Storm ending his SLS career with 53 touchdowns and 4,888 offensive yards with 1,206 yards and 25 touchdowns coming in his senior year.
The wide receiver went on to play for UConn and broke the school record for the number receptions in a single season in his final year with the Huskies, tallying 100 catches.
Thomas Jr. has been contacted by multiple NFL teams including the New York Giants, New England Patriots and New York Jets, but will be happy to get a late-round draft pick or even a free agent offer to fulfill his dream of playing professional football.
