A remarkable play from St. Luke’s Girls Varsity Basketball point guard Caroline Lau ‘22 made both the ESPN Top 10Plays of the Day and ESPNW Top 10 Plays of the Week.
The moment came during the FAA Championship game against Greens Farms Academy on Friday, February 28, and immediately went viral before being picked up by ESPN.

St. Luke’s went on to win the game with Lau scoring 22 points, a team high. The team also qualified for the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC) tournament and won its quarterfinal contest against Williston Northampton 79-52. The Storm now hosts number six seed Groton School on Saturday, March 7, at 4:30pm. The winner advances to Sunday’s final at Noble and Greenough School in Denham, Mass. Tip-off is scheduled for 3:15pm.
