Spring Break Adventures

VGP
St. Luke’s language students traveled near and far during spring break visiting Canada and China. Twelve 7th and 8th grade students, along with chaperones Amber Berry and Susan Bralower, spent a week in Quebec City.  They visited the Copper Museum, historic locations and spent an afternoon snow tubing.  On the other side of the globe, Yiyong Feng, Susan Cole and Grant Russell chaperoned fourteen SLS students in China. They visited Beijing, Xian (home to the Terracotta Warriors) and Shanghai. In addition to visiting many cultural sites, they also went to the Chinese headquarters for Burger King and Jaguar to learn about Chinese business culture. Six students extended their Shanghai visit to stay with students from our exchange school, Dong Chang. Both trips were filled with culture, local fare, adventure and fun!
