MS Students Raise Money For Carver Center

During Tuesday’s Middle School Town Meeting, St. Luke’s Headmaster Emeritus Dick Whitcomb was presented with a $786 check from the MS Student Council for the Carver Center’s afterschool programming. The Carver Center is Norwalk’s largest after school program for middle and high school students.

The money was raised by the Middle School students during the winter Elm Street Books fundraiser. Whitcomb, also a member of the Carver Foundation of Norwalk Board of Directors, gratefully accepted the check on behalf of the Carver Center and promised to match the SLS donation.
