St. Luke’s 2015 Cum Laude Society Induction Ceremony

St. Luke’s School held its annual Cum Laude Society Induction Ceremony on Wednesday, May 27. At St. Luke’s, the Cum Laude Society inductees are those seniors whose cumulative, weighted grade point average is in the top 20% of the graduating class. Seniors who were inducted into the St. Luke’s chapter (and their 2015 college plans) are:

The Cum Laude Society was founded in 1906 and was modeled on the collegiate level Phi Beta Kappa. The Cum Laude Society’s motto is Arete, Dike, Time—Excellence, Justice, Honor.  

The Cum Laude Society Committee includes: Liz Perry, Head of Upper School and Cum Laude Chapter President; Jim Yavenditti, Director of Studies and Cum Laude Chapter Secretary; Susan Doran, Junior Class Dean and English teacher; Michael Mitchell, Science Department Chair; Mitch Murphy, History teacher.
