St. Luke's Tops New Canaan Country School on the Road

Evan Downey
St. Luke's Boys Soccer defeated New Canaan Country School 5-2 on Monday afternoon for its first road win of the young season.  St. Luke's was bolstered by strong defense on the back end, led by standout performances from Andrew Parsons, Alex Letters, Bobby Orlich, Griffith Crouse, Charlie Adams and Teddy Balkind in net.  Watson Meyer, Flynn Partington, Griffin Labonski and Peter Corcoran controlled the midfield for the entire match.  They disrupted the Cougar attack and consistently fed strikers George Foster, Eoin Mueller and Jack Marshall for good scoring opportunities.  Foster (two goals), Labonski, Meyer, Mueller all scored for the Storm.  St. Luke's returns to the pitch next Tuesday afternoon for a 3:45 pm tilt at Fairfield Country Day.
