Boys Varsity Squash enjoyed a resounding win over King School on Thursday evening to improve to 2-3 overall on the season.
The young squad bounced back from a tough loss to Hopkins School the previous day by taking all seven games at the Stamford Sportsplex.
St. Luke’s co-captain Logan Diliberto ‘18 got the team off to the best possible start, winning his match 3-0, before Thomas Bailey ‘22 won his match comfortably to give SLS a 2-0 lead.
The Storm would continue to dominate the Vikings with Ajit Ajole ‘18, Andrew Patty ‘19, Andrew Gray ‘21 and Liam Patty ‘21 all securing victory in their match-ups.
That set up the chance for the team’s other captain, Dennis Polyakov ‘18, to complete the sweep in the #1 match-up. The Junior made light work of the contest taking it 3-0 to complete a wonderful evening for BVS.
Boys Varsity Squash continue next week with a trip to Brunswick School on Tuesday. The matches start at 4pm.
