P.E. Class Field Trip

St. Luke’s 8th grade Physical Education class headed to Chelsea Piers Connecticut in Stamford on Wednesday January 25 for a fun-filled afternoon of exercise and education.

MS Physical Education teacher Pat Raffaele, coordinated this field trip to give St. Luke’s students the opportunity to participate in some non-traditional activities as part of the departments new curriculum.

St. Luke’s P.E. students spent time in the state of the art batting cages, gymnastics area, rock climbing and the trampoline dodgeball arena. The students were split into two groups and enjoyed 30-40 minutes on each activity before returning to the Hilltop.
