One hundred and seventy people from the St. Luke’s Community and beyond came together for Building Campfires with Charles Vogl. Head of School Mary Halpin Carter welcomed the audience, saying: “Seeing so many St. Luke’s School community members here is fantastic. And we are joined by friends and neighbors from all over who happily answered the invitation to join us today. I love that we will all be learning together. St. Luke’s jumped at the chance to host this workshop because it strongly aligns with our values and mission…We believe our purpose and most important responsibility is to develop strong servant leaders who work to benefit others and better the world.”
“The seminar yesterday with Charles Vogl was a life highlight for me, and I think everyone was introduced to inspiring new ways of being of service in our communities. THANK YOU!” — SLS Building Campfires Attendee
Jacqueline Nelson, Director of Equity & Inclusion, brought the Campfires event to St. Luke’s: “Charles Vogl’s work captures St. Luke’s approach to equity and inclusion. Our goal is to build strong, meaningful relationships and ensure every community member is seen, heard, and known. Charles’ simple wisdom highlighted the huge benefit of intentionally creating moments for our extended community to truly connect. We will take many valuable lessons from this outstanding workshop.”
