Girls Hockey Teams Up With King For Inaugural Season

Daniel Clarke
The St. Luke’s Girls Hockey Team has joined forces with King School to provide players with a wonderful first experience this winter.

As the Storm looks to build its program, the two schools agreed to combine teams to provide more robust practices and increase ice time.

The Vikings/Storm alliance will practice at Stamford Twin Rinks and Sono Ice House throughout the season with coaches Mya Berretta (St. Luke’s) and Jake Montanaro (King).

Berretta is thrilled to have formed the partnership and is looking forward to seeing the progress of all the players: “My goal is to foster a positive environment that allows each player to feel confident in working on skill development. As a team, each player brings a unique skill set to the ice, and we are able to learn from each other while maintaining a competitive but friendly team culture. Our team goal is to play in a scrimmage by the end of the season!”
