Back-to-Back Debates
SLS Debate Team members had a busy weekend with back-to-back debates. On Saturday, Eliza Posner ‘16, Chloe Kekedjian ‘18, Tom Howells ‘16, Alex Levy ‘16, Bilal Memon ‘18 and Byron Duncan ‘17 competed in the CT Debate Association's January Modified Policy Tournament. Everyone did well with Eliza and Chloe winning 1st place varsity team and Eliza taking 1st place varsity speaker award. On Sunday, Eliza, Chloe, Alex and Sarah Wilson '16 competed at the Debate Association of New England School's (DANEIS) January Tournament at Hotchkiss. Congratulations to our dedicated debaters.
