Middle School Mathletes Meet at St. Luke’s
The SLS Fireplace Commons was bustling on Tuesday afternoon where more than 80 Mathletes met from five different schools. St. Luke’s Middle School Mathletes hosted students from Weston Middle School, New Canaan’s Saxe Middle School, Ridgefield’s East Ridge Middle School and Darien’s Middlesex Middle School.The teams rotated players and after six rounds, Middlesex scored the most points. St. Luke’s MS Mathletes coach Nancy Walsh said, “this was such a great experience for all involved. It was really wonderful to see so many middle schoolers in one room working on math.”
