SLS No-Stress Home Stretch

VGP
From Director of Diversity and Student Life Stephanie Bramlett

It is well known that the end of the academic year is a busy time for both students and teachers. Wrapping up classes, AP Exams, and final projects can make life feel a bit hectic which is why the Upper School participated in No-Stress Home Stretch activities. During the month of May, the Student Council, Health & Wellness Department, and Diversity Office teamed up to provide an array of stress-reducing activities. It was about creating opportunities to unwind and relax. There was a chance to color in coloring books, make a stress ball, learn aerial yoga, take a bog stroll, experience sound bath meditation and more. One of the repeated activities has been lunchtime recess with games on the front lawn. All the events were low in commitment but high in fun.
