St. Luke’s School is excited to welcome two highly experienced and accomplished coaches, Christopher Parisi and Tara Clough, as the new leaders of the varsity boys and girls lacrosse teams, respectively. Both coaches bring a wealth of knowledge, passion, and a commitment to excellence that will enhance the lacrosse program and inspire student-athletes.
Coach Chris Parisi joins St. Luke’s as program director of the boys lacrosse team. With over 30 years of coaching experience, including a successful tenure at Fairfield Ludlowe High School, leading the team to be CIAC Class S-Finalists. Coach Parisi has received multiple Coach of the Year honors and is known for his dedication to developing young athletes on and off the field. The Williams College alumni also co-founded Sticks for Soldiers, Inc., a nonprofit organization that supports injured veterans through lacrosse.
Coach Tara Clough, an alumni of St. Luke’s School, will serve as the girls lacrosse program director. As a former head coach at Greenwich High School, Tara guided the team to consecutive FCIAC Western Division Championships as well as FCIAC and CIAC semi-final appearances in 2023 & 2024. Tara’s experience extends beyond high school lacrosse; she co-founded the Future Cards Lax Camps and has led teams to national recognition and has been a head coach at nationally ranked CT Grizzlies Club for seven years . A University of Notre Dame alumni and former lacrosse team captain, Tara brings a deep connection to St. Luke’s and a passion for building a strong, supportive team culture.
“We are thrilled to welcome both Chris and Tara to the St. Luke’s family,” said Athletic Director, Anna Knechtel. “Their combined experience, leadership, and dedication to student-athlete development will undoubtedly have a positive impact on our lacrosse program. We look forward to seeing our teams thrive under their guidance.”
