St. Luke’s Celebrates The Year of the Rooster

V. Parker
Saturday is the Chinese New Year and St. Luke’s celebrated it throughout the week. During the US and MS Town Meetings, the students played spirited Kahoot trivia games. Mandarin teacher Yiyong Feng said, “Everyone had a lot of fun testing their knowledge about China and the Chinese New Year.” At lunch on Wednesday, there were many activities including Chinese calligraphy and character stamp, hacky sack, learning Chinese phrases and the chance to win a prize of a Chinese red envelope. Towards the end of the week, dumplings were shared and sold in support of China Care Foundation. Between all the activities and the festive decorations in the Commons, it was a great start to the year of the rooster.
