The Pendulum: St. Luke's Award-Winning Literary Magazine

The National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) awarded The Pendulum the “Recommended Highest Award” to “Recognize Excellence in Student Literary Magazines.” Co-advisor Stephen Flachsbart said, “This is the 2nd year in a row The Pendulum has received a top honor from the NCTE. This award is a great testament to our students’ impressive creativity and dedication especially because the judging is done by fellow English teachers.”
In addition, The Pendulum also received the Silver Medalist award from The Columbia Scholastic Press Association.
