Donated DVDs for A Cause

V. Parker
In conjunction with the Support our Soldiers club, St. Luke’s students have started collecting gently used and new dvds as part of the DVDS4Vets program.  According to its website, “DVDs4Vets officially started on Veteran’s Day, 2006. With increasing reports of severely wounded soldiers returning home from Iraq, many of them, due to physical hardships were unable to easily obtain some of the basic entertainment most civilians take for granted.”

Collection boxes are set up both outside Club Advisor David Havens’ Room # 230 and in the main lobby. This collection program will continue throughout the school year. Any questions about this program can be directed to Seth Kim ‘18 or Elyse Kim ‘21.
