The first two weekends of November, St. Luke’s Theatre Department presented two terrific productions. Our Middle School kicked us off with Life in the Middle, a funny and touching play about life as a Middle Schooler based on interviewers from real students. Our Upper School kicked us into high gear with its fabulously funny farce of folly Boeing-Boeing. They brought the house down with three madcap performances.
The glue which held both shows together was the fabulous St. Luke’s Theatre Crew, under the supervision of Technical Director John Conners, who are the very definition of above and beyond. While there are too many all-stars to name, a few standout seniors include Chloe Kekedjian for designing 1960's era clothing, Jacqui Holzberger for engineering and creating a system of lights backstage to cues actors’ entrances for precise timing (pivotal to the successful comic timing in this farce), and Kirsten Beaumont always at the helm executing all the technical requirements with perfect precision.
St. Luke’s School is a secular (non-religious), private school in New Canaan, CT for grades 5 through 12 serving over 40 towns in Connecticut and New York. Our exceptional academics and diverse co-educational community foster students’ intellectual and ethical development and prepare them for top colleges. St. Luke’s Leading with Humanity curriculum builds the commitment to serve and the confidence to lead.
