Parents Invited to Social Justice Leadership Summit

From Center for Leadership Director Kate Parker-Burgard:

Following on the success of last spring's Parent SJLS (Social Justice Leadership Summit) and the annual student SJLS, we're pleased to invite the community to another opportunity to sit in on the conversation and explore issues of social justice in our community and in ourselves.

The SJLS for Parents will be held on Saturday, April 4, from 1:00-5:00pm.

This workshop will include activities, personal reflections, and meaningful conversations. Parents who have participated shared that it has deepened their understanding of the St. Luke’s community, led to new relationships with other parents and helped them to respectfully navigate difficult conversations.

See the Leading Voices blog (including a video message from students) shared last spring to learn more about that experience.

Registration is now open for this year’s SJLS for Parents.
