Last Wednesday, the Parents’ Association had a great turnout for their first Virtual Brown Bag Lunch. We had almost 50 SLS community members join the Zoom call for a conversation with St. Luke’s School Psychologist, Dr. Ronald Raymond, and US Health and Wellness Coordinator, Camille DeMarco-Havens. As parents shared their feelings and concerns for their children, both facilitators gave suggestions as to how we together, as a community, can help our children during these unprecedented times. In addition to parents, some of our Deans joined the call and shared how our faculty and administration are continuing to foster the strong bond that the kids share on the Hilltop by recognizing Middle School birthdays during Middle School Town Meeting, highlighting different seniors each week during Upper School Meeting, and even still having lunch gatherings with our athletic trainers and other members of the Athletic Department. It was a great hour of sharing and conversing and really reinforced that we are SLS STRONG!
