Once again, SLS Theater received many Halo Award nominations, with a total of 18 this year. These awards are for the two Upper School productions: Admissions and The Imaginary Invalid.
The Halo Awards recognize the best in high school theater in Connecticut. Judges considered more than sixty productions, adjudicating performances from both public and independent schools.
Head of School Mark Davis shared, “St. Luke’s thespians have had an incredible year, including this spring, in spite of extraordinary challenges. They have moved me – to deep thinking as well as to both tears and belly laughs – and shown that high school theater can simultaneously teach, lead, and entertain.”
This year, the Seven Angels Theatre’s Halo Awards Ceremony will be presented online on Tuesday, June 23 at 7:00pm. A link to the event will be posted on their Facebook Page.
