St. Luke's and BlueStreak Expand Partnership For Strength & Conditioning

Daniel Clarke
The St. Luke’s Athletic Department is pleased to announce an expanded partnership with BlueStreak Sports Training, which will bolster our student-athletes’ strength and conditioning opportunities for the 2020-21 school year.

During this past school year, staff from BlueStreak utilized the Multi-Purpose Room on the lower level of the Athletic Center to supplement St. Luke’s athletic performance training offerings. Additionally, BlueStreak provided opt-in workouts for our spring Upper School athletes through the PLT4M app during St. Luke's at Home.

As we look to the fall, the Storm has decided to expand its relationship with BlueStreak to coincide with the opening of the state-of-the-art strength and conditioning center. The renovated facility will include areas for strength, agility, speed, and fitness training.

BlueStreak trainers will be available during certain morning hours, as well as all afternoon to assist students with their individual workout plans, lead specialized small-group training sessions, work with coaches and players on team training programs, and provide education on exercise science and sports training.

Athletic Director Mike West is excited about this new opportunity for student-athletes: “The new fitness center will create a great platform for our students and teams to build from. Having the added support of the BlueStreak staff will maximize our  use of the space and take our program to the next level.”
