MET Audio Guides

SLS
Collaborators: Mrs. Abby Abbott, Mr. David Parsons
Grade Level: 9th Grade
Class: Foundations of World History

Before the 9th grade's end-of-year trip to the MET, students created a one to two minute mini-podcast describing one of the artifacts within the MET that they had studied throughout the year. These mini-podcasts were then put into four lists of roughly 18-20 audio files using the podcasting tool Spreaker. Before students arrived at the MET, they were assigned a group which followed one of the four lists through the museum. Students saw the artifacts that they studied throughout the year while they listened to their peers' podcasts about them.
