Each year during the month of October, St. Luke’s Middle School celebrates Inktober, a 31-day, international celebration of art. Throughout the entire month, a daily prompt is given to participants who create their art masterpieces using ink and the one-word prompt as their inspiration. So far, some prompts have included fish, bulky, radio, and fancy. Anyone in the St. Luke’s community can join in the fun and create their designs using markers, pens, printmaking ink, highlighters, calligraphy pens...whatever ink-product they choose. Once their artwork is completed, students, faculty and the St. Luke’s community alike can upload their creations and admire others’ works of art.
You can participate in St. Luke’s Inktober challenge one day or all month long! For more information about St. Luke’s Inktober, email Ms. Haley Wulfman or Ms. Nancy Sarno from the Middle School Art Department.
