St. Luke’s Debate Team Places in the DANEIS Novice Tournament

This past weekend, St. Luke’s Debate Team participated in the first-ever Virtual DANEIS (Debate Association of New England Independent Schools) Novice Tournament held by Hotchkiss School. More than 130 freshman and sophomore competitors gathered for the virtual debate. St. Luke’s students represented our school well in the competition. Sally Picon ‘24 and Jack Sullivan ‘23 both received first place rankings in their impromptu speaking rounds, and Peter Cocoran ‘23 and Jack Sullivan ‘23 both won the second round of their novice debate.
