St. Luke’s Celebrates National French Week

S.A.
National French Week celebrations are coming to St. Luke's! Read more about the upcoming activities from Upper School World Language Department Chair Jon Shee:

It's time again for a decades-old tradition at SLS that celebrates the 300 million people who speak French all over our planet, and the fact that French is among the most-growing languages on Earth. By 2050, French is expected to be the third most spoken language worldwide!

The French teaching team, Flik Dining Services, and MS & US Student Councils collaborate to bring us fun activities and food from the vast francophone world.

Coming next week:
  • Posters, decorations, and digital "fun facts" around school
  • Special dishes at lunch each day inspired by the francophone world
  • "La Cabane à Gaufres" - Belgian waffle cabin, sponsored by Student Government
  • Interactive learning stations with QR codes
  • National Francophone Trivia Contest and Media Contest in French classes
 Vive le français!
