Last weekend, St. Luke’s Chess Club played Brunswick School in a virtual chess match. Players from both teams enjoyed the competitive spirit, and while St. Luke’s players didn’t come away with many wins, they’ll have plenty of opportunities for a rematch, thanks to a newly formed league.
St. Luke's is now a founding member of a new scholastic chess league with Brunswick School, Joel Barlow High School, and Danbury High School!
Between the months of December and February, the league will play six matches online, after school on Tuesdays.
