Ali Truwit '18 Is Paris Bound
St. Luke's alum Ali Truwit '18 qualified for Team USA in the 2024 Paralympics. This qualification comes after Ali's incredible performance this past weekend at the U.S. Paralympic Swimming Trials in Minneapolis, MN. Ali received three gold medals and broke an American record in the 100m backstroke S10 (1:08:98), her first time under the 1:09 barrier. "I definitely have goals, but I am also taking the time to be proud of where I am at, especially after it only being a year since the [shark] attack and amputation," Ali told Swim Swam. Ali joins 32 other athletes on the 2024 team. Join us in cheering on Ali and Team USA in the 2024 Paralympic Games as they compete in Paris from August 29 to September 7.
