Spectacular 2nd Annual Summer Send-Off for Class of 2015
VGP
The Hilltop was hopping on Monday evening during the 2nd Annual Summer Send-Off for recently graduated alumni and their parents. More than half of the class showed up to share stories, summer farewells and piles of pizza.
The special event connected mentors and mentees of the Alumni Mentorship Program. This pilot program pairs alumni-to-alumni based on similarity of colleges, career aspirations, SLS interests/activities, geographic location, etc.
The Summer Send-Off which drew 75 members of the SLS community—alumni, family members and faculty—was all thanks to the Parents of Alumni Committee, the Alumni Association Board and the Office of Alumni Relations. Alumni Director David Hirx said, “We tripled attendance this year. A clear sign alumni want to stay connected with St. Luke’s.”
