Homecoming This Weekend!

The week is upon us with all of the excitement and craziness that accompanies the St. Luke's Homecoming & Reunion Weekend experience.

Homecoming Weekend is a time for the entire St. Luke's community; alumni, students, faculty, staff, family, and friends, to join together and celebrate all that makes SLS a joyous and caring community. As the week begins the hallways are decorated, student organizations are finalizing their plans for the Activity Carnival (11:00 - 2:30 on the Upper Field), faculty & students are gearing up for Spirit Week dress down day themes, and the fall varsity teams are preparing for battles on the fields and courts of the Hilltop.

Returning for a second year, the Middle School Mystery Box Challenge combines creativity, engineering, time management, and ingenuity in a new and exciting way.

The school store, The Storm Zone, has stocked up for all your SLS gear. From t-shirts to fleece vests, sweatshirts to socks, they have it all to shown off your SLS pride.

Be sure to visit the first Food Truck Festival for all your concession needs throughout the day including Bodega Taco Bar, Firehouse Grill, Melt, and The Pizza Truck Co.

The Upper Field will be teeming with fun and games during the Activity Carnival as US Student Organizations and MS Grades take over the field.

To alleviate parking congestion, a shuttle service will be provided from East Elementary School (54 Little Brook Rd) running between 11:00 and 5:00.

Even though the week is full of fun activities, the main focus is the love and appreciation for everything the SLS community means to students, parents, faculty, friends, and alumni. Many alumni make a special trip back "home" for the annual Alumni Awards Night celebration Friday evening, and the Homecoming football game. It is a chance to remember the good times, reflect on favorite teachers and SLS memories, and reconnect with a community which continues to go above and beyond to be a warm and welcoming environment.

Join us Saturday, October 17, for Homecoming 2015.
