Two Teachers Honored With Yearbook Dedication

S.A.
St. Luke School’s Caduceus yearbook is dedicated to two members of the school's faculty or staff who have significantly impacted the lives of the senior class and eighth grade. On May 21, the Upper School & Middle School gathered in their respective Town Meetings, where they announced this year’s yearbook theme and dedicatees.

Yearbook Staff Editor Sofia Staikos '24, Marketing Communication Editor Lily Carre '24, and Design Editor Liliana Finn '26 announced this year’s theme, “Hollywood Gold,” that captures the spotlight moments, memories, and milestones that have defined this school year. They then proudly announced the St. Luke's School’s 2024 Caduceus Yearbook dedication.

The editors shared that “Over the past eight years, almost every senior has had the pleasure of spending time with this person. Teachers have described this person as someone who teaches with their whole heart and leaves their students with compassion, care, and devotion. They can be seen dress coding, working with the student council, or making guest appearances at senior tea.

“This person is not only a teacher but also a mentor, advisor, and, most importantly, a friend to our graduating class, the class of 2024. I cannot thank them enough for the significant impact that they've had on our time here at St. Luke's. If you have not guessed already, this year's Caduceus is dedicated to drumroll, please, Mrs. Susanna Clavelli.”

A special section in the yearbook is created by and for Middle School students under the direction of Yearbook Advisor Jay Blau and a team of students. This section highlights the year in review for grades five through eight. During the Middle School Town Meeting, the yearbook team dedicated their section of the yearbook to a teacher who has made a lasting impact on the eighth-grade class. Congratulations to Rachel Lang, St. Luke’s Seventh Grade Science Teacher and Grade-Level Dean, who was selected as this year’s dedicatee.
